Lauren’s Meal Prep (“we,” “us”) provides weekly dinner plans, grocery lists, and cooking schedules at laurensmealprep.com (the “Service”). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your name, email address, and a password when you create an account. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) and are never visible to us.
- Household & preference information. Details you choose to add so we can plan meals for you: household size, family member names, dietary preferences, allergies, cooking skill level, and time budgets.
- Content you create. Saved recipes, generated meal plans, grocery lists, cooking schedules, and nights you mark as eating out.
- Technical information. Basic logs (such as IP address and browser type) collected by our hosting provider to keep the Service secure and reliable.
How we use your information
- To provide the Service: generating plans, lists, and schedules tailored to your household.
- To operate your account: signing you in, syncing your data across devices.
- To communicate with you about your account or changes to the Service.
- To keep the Service secure and debug problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider) and the Service is hosted on Vercel. Both process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Third-party content
The Service links to recipes on other websites and embeds cooking videos from YouTube. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us (see below), and we will remove it within 30 days.
Children
The Service is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Family member names you add to your household are stored solely to label meal preferences and can be nicknames or initials.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, notify you by email or in the app.
